Yuliana & Nick

Last week I got the opportunity to spend a morning with Yuli and Nick for their engagement session. We started by the Planetarium because it's where they shared their first kiss and then we headed over to Lincoln Park Conservatory and the Lily Pond. They are a gorgeous couple who were so easy to photograph. I can't wait for their wedding in a couple of weeks!

Diaz Family

The Diaz family is so much fun to photograph. I was lucky enough to photograph Martha for her maternity portraits and always enjoy working with the Diaz's and playing around on North Avenue Beach this summer was no exception. The weather was awesome and they were completely adorable.

Ainslie & Nolan

On this rainy, overcast weekend I decided to post images from sunny summer days from just a few short weeks ago. Ainslie and Nolan were a blast to run around North Avenue Beach with. They both had birthdays recently and were about to have a big party to celebrate. They are absolutely adorable and so much fun to play around with.

Happy Anniversary Meg & Jove

I wanted to wish Meg and Jove a very happy first anniversary. I had such a fabulous time at their wedding last year. Their families and the whole wedding party were so much fun and made my job so easy to capture the excitement and emotion of the day. Nikki

This week Nikki came to Chicago to spend a morning with me for her senior portraits. We had a great time using all the great colors around the buildings and parks in my neighborhood. She is the niece of a friend and she couldn't look more like our Mary. I hope she doesn't mind being affectionately referred to as mini-Mary. Nikki, good luck with your senior year before going on to study nursing like your mom and be sure to visit us in the big city again soon!

Sheryl Crow

Sunday night I spent a lovely evening at Ravinia listening to Sheryl Crow and James Blunt. However, it was a ridiculously oversold event that required us to sit in an area of lawn that didn't even have speakers let alone catching a glimpse of the performance. So I was super excited to find out Sheryl was playing a private concert at the event I was working Monday night. I was even lucky enough to get a few shots of her.
